3 Eagle Shootout

We had a fun time at the Three Eagle Shootout. While we were there we shot the rifle, shotgun and a chance to shoot an M-1 Grand. We also did a half hour of community service and went fishing while we were there. Brady caught a fish eating a fish using bait.
During late October we did community service project, we cut out, sanding and painting a Nativity scene for The First Presbyterian Church.
Troop 136 would also like to give our prayers and sympathy to the Hurt Family with the passing of their father Brad Callahan.

Next blog will be of Big Hiking Trip.

Put in Bay

Some of our troop members just returned from Campton, KY after a superb time climbing with the Southeast Mountain Guides.  Though only few made it through all the climbing sections, everyone had fun.  We camped two nights at Land of Arches campground and also went to Natural Bridge State Park and hiked a little there.

We did merit badges, advancement sign offs, PASS SWIMMING TESTS, great food, lake games. It was 7 days of of fun, sweat and karate chopping mosquitoes.  Can't wait till next year!

Here is a little recap from Dorchester, Canada too!

Flight 93 Trip

We had an amazing time at the flight 93 memorial through it was sad that it happened. We respectfully had to remember the lives lost in the crash.  Even though they risked their lives they saved the life of many others
and for that we have to thank them for risking their lives.

Mulch Sale and camps

Grrrrr! Deadline for our mulch sale was today and we have finished with about 3,900 bags ordered from 80 people.  We got a lot of money from the bags and we received more donations than last year.  All hands on deck are needed for April 12th and 13th to deliver and spread!

We had an amazing time at Marengo Caves and the Camp with Webelos.  Those are in the past, and in April we will be going to Tar Hollow with the Cub Scouts for their crossover into Boy Scouts. Then in May we will be going to Canada for an amazing international camping trip!
